About Iowa SIPS
Iowa SIPs manufactures wall, roof, and foundation panels. Our system is used in commercial, agricultural, and residential applications. Iowa SIPs homes provide many benefits to the homeowner and the contractor.
Iowa SIPs is owned by Farmers Cooperative Elevator Company (FAC). FAC is a diverse company with the main office located in Arcadia, IA and was established in 1937. Iowa SIPs was acquired in 2005 after doing business with them since 1999. FAC saw this as a new branch to their ever growing lumberyard and an opportunity to expand into manufacturing.
We pride ourselves on providing the care and courtesy of the small town while providing the attention, professionalism and detail to every customer. We will work with you to provide complete and accurate estimates for your project, with details about each area of the project. Iowa SIPs will provide complete estimating for your project and can include everything from the panels themselves down to the kitchen cabinet door knobs. We can be your one stop shop for all your building needs. Delivery of the product is available through Iowa SIPs; however you have the option to provide your own freight to the job site.
Our foundation panel is built with ¾” CCA on the outside and ½” CCA on the inside. A 2x8 is every 16” and filled with polyurethane foam. Our wall and roof panels have 7/16” OSB on both sides and filled with the same foam from ECOMATE. This is a green product, which fits perfect in the green industry that is so highly promoted. Iowa SIPs can custom build to your floor plans or we can help with the design process as well. No matter where the application everyone can benefit for the amazing R-value these panels provide (4” panel = R26, 6” panel = R42).
We hope you will consider Iowa SIPs for your next project. We know we will provide you with the best Structurally Insulated Panels on the market with the pride in small town customer service. We look forward to hearing from you soon.

About Farmers Cooperative Elevator Company
Farmers Cooperative Elevator Company, also known as FAC
Cooperative, is a member-owned company serving agriculture
and building trades across the Midwest.
FAC started out
like many local farmer co-ops. It was formed in 1937 as an
official cooperative to serve the grain, feed and
farm-supply needs of local farmer-members, FAC has grown
into a very diversified company serving both large and small
customers across many product lines.
Today’s core business is manufacturing feed for hogs, cattle
and poultry. FAC mixes nearly 300,000 tons of high quality
feed annually. With a team of dedicated employees and fleet
of 10 feed delivery trucks FAC is the premier feed supplier
in west central Iowa.
FAC also sources corn and soybeans for its feed operations
and merchandising opportunities. FAC’s grain division
handles 11,000,000 bushels of corn and soybeans annually.
The company offers a variety of cash grain contracts and
services for its grain customers.
Like many Midwest co-ops, FAC provides top notch agronomy
services to its customers with Certified Crop Advisor (CCA)
agronomists, reliable programs, quality service and
precision ag. FAC sells and applies fertilizer, farm
chemicals and seed to keep producers in front of today’s
quickly changing agronomy practices.
Lumber has always been a part of the FAC mix of services.
Today a team of professionals deliver cutting edge building
materials and service to the building trades industry.
Providing lumber, steel siding, roofing materials and
everything in between, FAC can help get your project built.
The company also offers professionally drawn plans and
blueprints though it’s engineering department.
And last, but certainly not least, is the Iowa SIP’s
manufacturing division. Iowa SIP’s builds high quality,
highly energy efficient structurally insulated panels (SIP)
for nearly any project — from homes to fire stations.
Rounding out FAC divisions is it’s petroleum business. FAC
operates cardtrol fuel stations at Arcadia and Westside.
These 24-hour fueling stations provide convenient, quick and
affordable fuel to our customers.
As you can see, FAC has grown and diversified over the
years. But one thing remains the same — the Cooperative
Spirit and Cooperative Success that started long ago.
Pulling together to grow and build quality
products. That’s what FAC is all about!
